Owls are predatory birds, which means they pose a threat to baby crows and smaller birds that hang out in the same trees as them. The mama and baby birds basically flip out, squawking and swooping at the owl, trying so hard to drive it away. The owl on the other hand- does nothing. Just sits. Well, he’ll duck every now and then as a crow flies at his head, but for the most part he mediates through the chaos. Unphased, completely calm, a slight turn of the head (in all directions) to see what’s going on, but completely unaffected by any of it. Literally doesn’t give a hoot. Channel your inner owl- when life goes nuts around you, tap into that serenity. Let everything squawk and swoop around you, but stay calm- observe it all and don’t get involved unless you have to.
